In recent years, Hong Kong Dragon Group has developed several residential projects in Chengdu Dragon Port, with the construction area reaching 360 million square feet and houses 40,000 sets. Shopping Mall

Seaside City Shopping Mall is a key project in the industrial transformation progress of Dragon Port Shuangliu Park. It is an urban complex with comprehensive services including shopping, entertainment, leisure, food, accommodation and tourism. This innovative one-stop consumption way of living guarantees a high-quality fashion life. Hong Kong Dragon Group invested 6 billion yuan to build the Seaside City Shopping Mall. Located in Shuangliu District of Dragon Port, Chengdu, the project was built by an internationally renowned design team and managed by DTZ, one of the “Big Five” international real estate consultants. The total commercial area covers 10.2 million square feet, including 2.7 million square feet of shopping center, 2.5 million square feet of office space, and 4 million square feet of parking as well as One million square feet of five-star hotels. The mall has introduced unprecedented new theme formats, including the Guinness Record aquarium, the first helicopter club in Asia, the Ou Yue Ice Rink that can host international competitions, the huge screen cinema that can accommodate 5000 people at the same time, and the simulator. JW Marriott Hotel

We have also developed hotel business in Shuangliu Park and introduced the international hotel brand – JW Marriott, which is still under construction. Its location is close to the shopping mall and Cube Oceanarium, which won two Guinness World Record Awards. The hotel covers an area of 13,300 square meters, with a total floor area of 50,000 square meters. Once completed, the Chengdu Dragon Port JW Marriott Hotel will become a landmark hotel in Shuangnan Business area and Shuangliu district, further enhancing the competitiveness of Dragon Port in Chengdu. Infrastructure

With reference to the standards and supporting functions of international cities, the group strives to build a Dragon Port with international standard physical form and hardware facilities. A number of infrastructure projects have been completed and put into use, including the Living Water Park, Water Supply Centre, White River Revitalization Scheme, road construction, nine-year compulsory education school and flood control system.

Water Supply

The group has been committed to the construction of an environment-friendly and energy-saving park. In order to achieve balance between economic development and environment, we have built the first phase of sewage treatment plant. Later, in our efforts to transform and upgrade the park into a business district, we introduced a Singapore technology to build the second phase of sewage treatment plant — Dragon Port Living Water Par, which has a daily water handling capacity of 30,000 tons. The Dragon Living Water Park and the sewage treatment plant cover an area of 30 acres with a total investment of 120 million yuan. It is one of the key projects of Chengdu Dragon Port to build an energy conservation and environmental protection park. In June 2009, the construction of the Living Water Park was officially started. In only 8 months, in February 2010, the project has been completed and put into operation.

Dragon Port Water Supply Center

Water is the source of life. The quality of water is closely related to the quality of life of people living inside the park. Before the development of Dragon Port, local residents dug wells to draw groundwater directly for drinking, and the water quality did not meet the standard of safe drinking water, and the health of residents was not guaranteed. In this case, we built four small water plants to meet the needs of local enterprises and residents. With the expansion of Dragon Port, the group hopes to provide people with a better living environment, improve their quality of life, and provide them with healthier drinking water. we have then invested heavily in the construction of Dragon Water Supply Center, a resource-saving and environment-friendly livelihood project. With a total investment of 50 million yuan, the Dragon Water Supply Center covers an area of about 10 acres, with a floor area of 30,000 square feet and a daily capacity of 30,000 tons. The project was started in August 2009, completed in just eight months and put into operation in April 2010. The construction of Dragon Water Supply Center has improved people’s quality of life. It enables hundreds of enterprises and 100,000 residents to have access to high-quality tap water.

Water Filtration

Before the development of Dragon Port, it was just a small polluted river ditch, which seriously affected the living environment of nearby residents. In order to build an environmental protection park and publicize the awareness of ecological environment protection, the group carried out the Baihe Activation plan to beautify the city. After nearly a year of renovation, Baihe has taken on a new look. As part of the group’s greening programme, the project not only promotes environmental conservation, but also provides a habitat for many species of birds.

Electricity Supply

Dragon 110KV substation is fully invested by Hong Kong Dragon Group with a total investment of 160 million yuan. The total length of the line is 14.6 kilometers. The double-loop line from Huangshui 220KV Substation is used as the power supply. The construction of Dragon 110KV substation provides sufficient power supply for Dragon Port, provides strong guarantee for enterprises and people and works as a strong foundation for Dragon Port’s business expansion in the following years.

Road Establishment

The group has also carried out a road construction programme to transform the road from grey cement concrete pavement to black asphalt concrete pavement to achieve environmental protection, dust prevention, noise reduction and improvement of driving comfort. Compared with the original concrete pavement, after the reconstruction, the adhesion between the road surface and the tire is enhanced, the braking performance of the vehicle in dealing with emergencies is greatly improved, and the vehicle is safer and more stable. Noise generated during vehicle movement will also be significantly reduced, which plays an important role in reducing urban noise; The asphalt pavement also has a relatively good dust absorption performance, which can effectively absorb the dust in the process of vehicle driving, thus improving the air quality on both sides of the road, beautifying the environment of the park and greatly enhancing the overall image of Dragon Port.
